Young Reporters in Museums Young Reporter’s in Museums aims to bring together children from all over by the activity of reportage in whatever language to share micro-reportages.

From our Paris HQ (basically my kitchen table and a laptop), urbanstates organized the first Young Reporter’s in Museums event, which down to the brass tacks I mentioned earlier, meant: getting a group of kids (between 6-13 year olds) to Paris’s Museum of the Middle Ages, arranging for Matthieu Decraene, head of cultural services, at the museum to dedicate an hour or so, spinning them a few storie

s based on selected treasures in the museum’s permanent collection. Using a dedicate phone-number direct to voicemail, we ask kids to telephone-in their final micro-reportages to the World Radio Paris office, a kind of YRMglobal dedicated hotline.
