The show, titled “Renaissance: De Vinci, Raphaël, Michel-Ange,” is currently running at the Atelier des Lumières, a digital art center located in a former industrial building in the 11th arrondissement. It opened on March 13, 2026, and will continue until June 28, 2026.

Instead of traditional paintings on walls, visitors step into a large space where the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Michelangelo are projected across floors, walls, and ceilings. The experience lasts about 50 minutes and takes visitors through the lives and creations of these three Renaissance masters.

The exhibition uses high-resolution images, digital reconstructions, and 3D effects to show details that are often hard to see in museums. For this edition, new atmospheric effects have also been added, creating a more immersive environment.

A narrated storyline guides visitors through the artistic ideas and innovations of the Renaissance period, while the visuals are paired with a modern soundtrack, mixing classical art with contemporary music.

The Atelier des Lumières has become one of the most popular cultural venues in Paris for this type of experience, known for turning famous artworks into large-scale visual shows.

This exhibition offers a different way to explore some of the most important works in art history—by stepping inside them rather than just looking at them.

Eight French cities are joining a massive global wave of "No Kings" protests today to demonstrate against the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Organized locally by the French chapter of the US Democratic party, these rallies in Paris, Nice, Lyon, and Bordeaux are part of a larger mobilization spanning over 3,000 cities worldwide.

The movement, known as "No Kings 3," follows two similar large-scale protests in 2025.

While the original focus was on executive overreach and authoritarianism, today's demonstrations are largely fueled by recent federal immigration operations and the ongoing conflict in Iran.

In France, the rallies are branded as "No Tyrants" to align with local political sentiment while maintaining solidarity with the millions expected to march across all 50 US states.

Major gatherings are already underway or scheduled for this afternoon across the country. In Paris, the group met at Place de la Bastille this morning and is heading toward La Victoire for a secondary event.

Other significant rallies include the steps of the Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux and the Statue of Liberty replica in Nice, where participants are voicing opposition to what organizers call the "regime's brutality" and threats to democratic norms.

Organizers from groups like Indivisible and the 50501 Movement expect today to be the single largest day of domestic and international political protest in history.

With over 9 million people projected to participate globally, the decentralized nature of the events has allowed the movement to spread beyond major urban hubs into hundreds of suburban and rural communities.

This rose window survived revolutions, fires, and centuries of neglect with most of its original glass still intact.

The north rose window at Notre-Dame de Paris dates to the 1250s and is one of the best preserved large medieval stained glass windows in Europe. Unlike many others, it was never dismantled or heavily restored, which means most of the glass you’re looking at is original to the 13th century.

At the center sits the Virgin and Child in the classic “Seat of Wisdom” pose, surrounded by Old Testament prophets, kings, and judges arranged across roughly 80 medallions. Below, a row of kings fills the lancets, deliberately echoing the royal gallery on the west façade. The message is clear and very medieval. Sacred authority and royal power are meant to mirror each other.

What makes this window even more remarkable is what it has endured. The French Revolution, 19th century restorations, pollution, and even the 2019 fire left it largely untouched. It faces north, so it never receives direct sunlight, which helped preserve both the glass and the deep blues that still dominate the composition.

Worth seeking out this part of the Louvre.

Tucked into a quiet corner of the Louvre’s Richelieu wing, the Napoleon III Apartments offer a glimpse into the opulence of the Second Empire of France. Built in the 1850s as the residence of Napoleon III’s Minister of State, these rooms once hosted lavish dinners, masked balls, and glittering receptions for Parisian high society.

Today, the gilded décor, chandeliers, and painted ceilings remain remarkably intact, making it feel like stepping straight into 19th-century Paris.
