When Francis Decker, my friend and model for « Light Spirit » arrives from Tanger to discover his dreamlike portrait in the art fair … it’s a great honor.

All my artworks are born from a strong connexion with a real person. A person inspiring me.

I wanted to portray visual intensity, depth, intuition, and animal instinct. That’s why I painted symbols and tribal codes.

To be part of an art fair such as DF - Art project Destructuralisme figuratif is not only about showcasing art.

As artists, we need to connect to our tribe. It’s essential. We need it, like breathing air or drinking water.

We need to meet each other, in the real world. More than ever, because the digital world is so present now! Theses conversations nourish our souls, nourish our joy, nourish our journey as creators. It gives us energy to continue our researches.

When we come back in our studios, theses conversations and connections are like seeds.

We are humans, and we need to feel each others. We are artists, and we need to grow together. It makes us stronger.

C’est dans la rencontre vraie que se tisse l’expérience de notre vie, jour après jour.
