Journées Européennes du Patrimoine 🏛️ : un 1er rendez-vous réussi pour le Centre d'art de Flaine

Les 19 et 20 septembre 🗓️, le Centre d'art s'est associé pour la première fois à cet événement national, autour du thème 2026 : le patrimoine de la photographie 📷.

Trois temps forts ont rythmé le week-end ✨ :
🎨 L'exposition-atelier « Images Vivantes », conçue par le Centre Pompidou autour de l'œuvre de Yaacov Agam.
🏛️ Une visite guidée révélant les choix architecturaux et artistiques de Marcel Breuer, entre Picasso, Dubuffet et Vasarely.
📷 L'exposition « Flaine » de Myr Muratet, qui donne à voir l'architecture moderniste du site en regard de ses archives, de 1954 à aujourd'hui.

Une manière de relire Flaine — son histoire, son architecture, ses images — et d'inscrire durablement ce patrimoine dans le paysage culturel du territoire 🏔️

For its very first participation in the European Heritage Days, the resort is highlighting its iconic 20th-century architecture around the 2026 national theme: "Photographic Heritage".

On the agenda:
🎨 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: "Living Images", a hands-on workshop and exhibition designed for kids
🏛️ 3:15 PM – 4:45 PM: Guided tour of Flaine’s architectural heritage
📸 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: "Flaine" photo exhibition by Myr Muratet

This Friday, the official opening of our two new summer exhibitions took place, in the presence of local officials and partners. 🥂✨

They are open to everyone with free admission all summer long:

A fascinating double perspective on our resort: the photographer's poetic shots stand alongside a historical archive journey, retracing the architectural epic of Flaine from 1954 to the present day.

🎨 “Living Images – Exhibition-workshop” (produced by the Centre Pompidou)
An interactive exhibition-workshop for young audiences! Children (and parents) are invited to manipulate, play with optical effects, paint on a giant palette, or even light up the space with their voice.

This summer, let yourself be surprised by the unique architecture of the station through the eye of photographer Myr Muratet. A story that begins in 1954 and continues today.

In this exhibition-workshop, your kids are allowed to touch EVERYTHING 👐! No more "look with your eyes only". Here, we handle, experiment, and set shapes and colors in motion to awaken all their senses 🧩🎨.

A fun and colorful exhibition to discover with the whole family all summer long in Flaine. ⛰️✨

📆 Open Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM.
📍 Salle Alhéna, Résidence Alhéna (Level -3), Flaine Front de Neige.
