What is conscious? Conscious is a relatively higher level in perception, it has no limit upwards, it is the mark of an individual who deliberately seeks to develop harmony of thought speech and action bound in energies of love ,peace, respect, mutual understanding and an unwavering vision of Universal Love. A conscious artist wants to promote the values of goodness and purity. A conscious artist likes to share his inspirations and creations with others. A conscious artist wants his work to be an instrument of the Absolute Truth. A conscious artist wants to utilize his art to help all people without limitation or discrimination. A conscious artist searches for ways to express his sadness about the abuse of this world and its living creatures by misuse of free will by people who haven't had the chance to experience light. A conscious artist tries to see universal love behind the veils of this "world", and tries to show others the way to gain such perception. A conscious artist feels a strong commitment to universal love. A conscious artist appreciates all other conscious artists without discrimination of caste, color, religious background etc. What is our benefit? Our benefit is layered and many folds. First and foremost, sharing thoughts of peace and love comes back to us many folds. Giving others the chance to shine and share their talents gives us more than pleasure of senses....it gives us purpose. We believe that truth grows as we grow. We are open 24/7!!! Anytime is good for Art!!!! Inspiration is not bound from 9 to 5!! Do we have a studio? Yes, we have a nice and quiet studio in development on one of the finest neighborhoods in Ethiopia, the "green" Bole homes, not far from the airport; you can also showcase your work there, if you wish it so. We will present your work alongside your video......... even if you are not there, the art buyer can meet you through our unique ECA Art video that we will have the pleasure of producing. The art lovers/buyers can be able to visualize all your work and feel your philosophy on screen!! Another idea born in ECA!! Are we artists? We are more “Conceptors” ,we conceive ideas, and ideas flow like the Nile, thanks be to the creator! But we believe every man who takes responsibility of his actions and begins to create willingly is an artist, for he has become a creator of his present and thus his future. For ultimately life is ART. Even if we are not as profoundly connected with paint nor music nor words as the painters and musicians and writers featured on ECA there are insights of life we have discovered and we want to share with the public. ECA is the very medium we have conceived and that will let us deliver our vision of universal love, it is a combined network of everything, from music, poetry, painting, to photography, we may not be as good at every art mentioned above but we know artists who have perfected the Art and if you are reading this right now, we believe you may be one of them. We want to speak through you the one language we are all supposed to speak in the first place, LOVE. For we all should be voices of the ultimate. That is why ECA is born in the first place. Because of those insights that need to come out. On another note, besides ECA, we also make documentary films, our latest was a documentary to help the 30 plus Ethiopian university presidents get more fund as to help them get more training in order to unleash and better their leadership skills. In doing so, we will help generations of young Ethiopian students become more qualified as a result of having a farsighted ,efficient and effective leader.
. Art wise, we also take pictures, we love capturing the moment, it teaches us that every moment passes, and that we should not be attached to any particular moment, for life itself is a perpetual creation. So even if we do not have our cameras at hand, we choose to take "pictures" of love peace and laughter with our minds. For the mind is the camera of life, and the more we upgrade our camera (elevate our consciousness), the more quality pictures we would take, the better the life we would lead. Quote that drives us:
