አዲስ አበባ - የናይጄሪያ ፌዴሬሽን ጠቅላይ ዐቃቤ ሕግና የፍትሕ ሚኒስቴር ላቲፍ ኦላሱንኮሚ ፋግቤሚ ከልዑካቸው ጋር የመላው ጥቁር ህዝብ ኩራት የሆነውን የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያን ጎብኝተዋል፡፡ ለስራ ጉብኝት አዲስ አበባ የሚገኙት ሚኒስትሩ፤ በመታሰቢያው የሚገኙ ታሪካዊ ቅርሶችን ተዘዋውረው የጎበኙ ሲሆን፣ በጉብኝቱ ወቅት የኢትዮጵያውያን ፅናት፣ ጀግንነት እና የሃገር ፍቅር እጅጉን እንዳስደነቃቸው ገልፀዋል፡፡

ኢትዮጵያ ከቅኝ ገዥዎች ፊት ለመንበርከክ ፈቃደኛ ካልሆኑ ጥቂት ሃገራት መካከል አንዷ መሆኗን ያስታወሱት ሚኒስትር ላቲፍ፤ በወቅቱ በነበራቸው አቅም እንኳን ወራሪን በፅናት መመከትና የሃገራቸውን ሉአላዊነት ማስከበር መቻላቸው የሚደነቅ መሆኑን እና ትልቅ አቅም ያለው ህዝብ መሆኑን የሚያሳይ እንደሆነ ገልፀዋል፡፡

ወደ አዲስ አበባ መጥቶ ይህንን መታሰቢያ ሳይጎበኝ የሚሄድ ሰው ይኖራል ተብሎ አይታሰብም ያሉት ሚኒስትሩ፤ ይህንን የስዕበት ማዕከል የሆነ ስፍራ ላዘጋጀው የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት እና የዓድዋን ድል ላስገኙ ጀግኖች ያላቸውን ክብር ገልፀዋል፡፡

ADDIS ABABA — The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi, along with his delegation, visited the Adwa Victory Memorial, a powerful symbol of pride for all Black people. The Minister, who is currently in Addis Ababa on an official working visit, toured the historic artifacts housed within the memorial and noted that he was deeply moved and inspired by the resilience, heroism, and patriotism of Ethiopians.

Reflecting on history, Minister Lateef highlighted that Ethiopia remains one of the very few nations that refused to bow down to colonial powers. He emphasized that the ability of Ethiopians to resolutely withstand invaders and safeguard their sovereignty with the limited resources they possessed at the time is highly admirable, demonstrating that they are a people of immense capability and strength.

"There is no way you can come to Addis Ababa and not visit this memorial," the Minister remarked. He went on to express his deep respect and gratitude to the government of Ethiopia for creating this remarkable center of attraction, as well as to the heroes who fought to secure the historic Victory of Adwa.

አዲስ አበባ የዓለም አቀፍ ኮንፈረንሶች የስህበት ማዕከልነቷን እያረጋገጠች ትገኛለች!

ዛሬ ከጤና ሚንስትር ክብርት ዶ/ር መቅደስ ዳባ እና ከአፍሪካ በሽታዎች ቁጥጥርና መከላከል ማዕከል (Africa CDC) ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ዦን ካሴያ ጋር በቀጣይ ኖቬምበር ወር ላይ ከተማችን አዲስ አበባ 5ኛውን አለምአቀፍ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኮንፈረንስ ለማካሄድ መመረጥዋንና ኮንፈረንሱን በጋራ ለማዘጋጀት በሚያስችሉ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ ፍሬአማ ውይይት አድርገናል።

አዲስ አበባ በቅርብ ዓመታት ውስጥ በመሰረተ ልማት በሰራናቸው ስራዎች ፣ በነዋሪዎቻችን እንግዳ ተቀባይነት፣ሰላሟ የተረጋገጠ ከተማ በመሆኗ እና የተለያዩ ዓለም አቀፍ ስብሰባዎች ለማካሄድ ምቹ ከተማ መሆን በመቻሏ “የአፍሪካ የጤና ሉዓላዊነት እና ደህንነትን ማላቅ/...to advance Africa’s health soverignity and security agenda./ በሚል 5ኛውን ዓለምዓቀፍ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኮንፈረንስ ለማዘጋጀት የሚያስችሉ ዝግጅቶች በስፋት በጋራ በመከናወን ላይ ነው፡፡

5ኛውን ዓለምዓቀፍ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኮንፈረንስ የሃገራት መሪዎች ፣ሚኒስትሮች ፣የህብረተሰብ ጤና መሪዎች፣ፖሊሲ አውጭዎች ፣ተመራማሪዎች እና ባለድርሻ አካላትን የሚሳተፉበት ትልቅ ዓለም አቀፍ ኮንፈረንስ ነው ።

Today, I held a highly productive discussion with Minister of Health Dr. Mekdes Daba and the Director General of the Africa CDC, Dr. Jean Kaseya, regarding the selection of our city, Addis Ababa, to host the 5th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA), which will take place next November. We also discussed key areas of collaboration to jointly organize the conference.

In recent years, Addis Ababa has become an increasingly attractive destination for major international gatherings, thanks to the significant infrastructure developments undertaken across the city ,the hospitality of our residents, being secured city and its growing capacity to successfully host global events. In this context, extensive preparations are being carried out in collaboration with partners to organize the 5th International Conference on Public Health, under the theme:
“Advancing Africa’s Health Sovereignty and Security Agenda.”
The conference will bring together Heads of State, ministers, public health leaders, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders and partners.

አዲስ አበባ — የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያ ከኢትዮጵያ የሄማቶሎጂ እና ኦንኮሎጂ ማህበር (ESHO)፤ ጥቁር አንበሳ ስፔሻላይዝድ ሆስፒታል እና ሆፕ ኦንኮሎጂ (Hope Oncology) ጋር በመተባበር፣ ለተቋሙ ሰራተኞች ሰፊ የካንሰር ግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ እና የጡት ካንሰር ቅድመ ምርመራ መርሃ-ግብር አካሄዷል። በዚሁ መርሃ-ግብር መሰረት ከጥቁር አንበሳ ስፔሻላይዝድ ሆስፒታል እና ከተባባሪ ተቋማቱ የተውጣጡ ከፍተኛ የህክምና ባለሙያዎች በቅድመ ካንሰር ዙሪያ ለተቋሙ ሰራተኞች ሰፊ ማብራሪያ ሰጥተዋል።

ይህ መድረክ በዋናነት ትኩረቱን ያደረገው በካንሰር መከላከያ መንገዶች፣ በሽታውን ሊያስከትሉ በሚችሉ ተጋላጭነቶች፣ በቅድመ ማስጠንቀቂያ ምልክቶች እና በሽታውን በጊዜ የመለየት ወሳኝነት ዙሪያ ላይ ነበር። ከግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ መድረኩ ማጠናቀቂያ በኋላም ለተቋሙ ሴት ሰራተኞች በሙሉ የጡት ካንሰር ምርመራ ጨምሮ ሰፊ የቅድመ ካንሰር ምርመራ ተደርጓል።

Adwa Victory Memorial, in Collaboration with Healthcare Partners, Conducts Pre-Cancer Screening and Awareness Session for Staff!

Addis Ababa — The Adwa Victory Memorial, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Society of Hematology and Oncology (ESHO), Black Lion Specialized Hospital, and Hope Oncology, has conducted a comprehensive cancer awareness session and breast cancer screening program for its staff. During the program, senior medical professionals drawn from Black Lion Specialized Hospital and the partnering institutions provided extensive briefings to the staff.

The session primarily focused on cancer prevention methods, potential risk factors, early warning signs, and the critical importance of early detection. Following the conclusion of the awareness forum, comprehensive pre-cancer screening services, including specialized breast cancer screenings, were provided to all female staff members of the institution.

ያለፈው ሳምንት በዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያ የተለያዩ ጉብኝቶችን ያስተናገደበት እንዲሁም መታሰቢያው ልዩ ልዩ ታላላቅ ሁነቶችን ለማስተናገድ ምቹ እና ተመራጭ ስፈራ መሆኑን ዳግም ያሳየበት ሳምንት ነበር፡፡

📌የሳምንቱ ዋና ዋና ኩነቶች፦

⚽ የቀድሞ ዓለም አቀፍ የእግር ኳስ ኮከቡ ጉብኝት፡ የቀድሞ የአርሰናል ተጫዋች ኢማኑኤል ኢቦዬን ጨምሮ የክለቡ ደጋፊዎች እና የAFTV ሚድያ የመላው ጥቁር ህዝብ ኩራት የሆነውን የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያን የጎበኙ ሲሆን፤ በመታሰቢያው የሚገኙ ታሪካዊ ቅርሶችንና ድሉን የሚዘክሩ የጥበብ ስራዎችን ተዘዋውረው ተመልክተዋል፡፡

⚽ A Visit from Former Global Football Legend: Former Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboué, along with Arsenal fans and the renowned AFTV media team, visited the Adwa Victory Memorial, a symbol of pride for all Black people. During their tour, the delegation explored the historic artifacts and artistic masterpieces commemorating the iconic victory.

📖 The Next Generation visit: A total of 120 primary school students and teachers from Kids New Flower School embarked on an educational tour. The visit allowed students to look beyond their textbooks and experience history firsthand, gaining deep insights into the heroic struggles of their forefathers and the monumental contributions of their brave foremothers.

🩰 5th Anniversary Celebration: Beyond Dance Studio, an institution that trains children and youth aged 3 to 18 in various dance styles, music, Taekwondo, and gymnastics, successfully hosted its 5th-year student graduation showcase. The anniversary was celebrated with a wide array of energetic performances at the memorial's event venue.

💡 The tour which blends History with Science: High-achieving students from Falcon Academy visited the memorial for a unique learning experience. አዲስ አበባ - ዛሬ የፋልከን አካዳሚ ተማሪዎች የጥቁር ህዝቦች ኩራት የሆነውን የዓድዋ ድል መታሰቢያን ጎብኝተዋል፡፡ ጉብኝቱ ከ1ኛ እስከ 4ኛ ክፍል ያሉ ከፍተኛ ውጤት ያስመዘገቡ 54 የሚሆኑ ተማሪዎችን እና መምህራንን ያሳተፈ ሲሆን፤ ሁለት ዓላማዎችን ያነገበ ጉብኝት እንደሆነ መምህራኑ ገልፀዋል፡፡

ADDIS ABABA — Today, students from Falcon Academy visited the Adwa Victory Memorial, a symbol of pride for all Black people. The tour included 54 high-achieving students from grades 1 to 4, along with their teachers. According to the educators, the excursion was organized with a dual purpose in mind.

Arranged by the school as a reward to encourage the high-performing students, the tour's first objective was to enrich the students' understanding of their national history and the heroism of their forefathers. The second objective was to allow them to see firsthand the historical starting point for the nation's distance measurement system, which is located right at the Adwa Victory Memorial. During the visit, the students had a unique opportunity to gain practical insights into how distance calculations to any part of the country are determined, using this very site as Kilometer Zero Zero.
