Our private museum is looking for passionate individuals to join us as Administrative Assistant & Tour Guide Volunteers. This is your chance to go behind the scenes and help bring history to life!

- Welcome Visitors: Be the friendly face of our museum.
- Lead Tours: Share fascinating stories as a museum guide.
- Support Operations: Help with light administrative tasks and scheduling.

Young voices took center stage at YZ Museum!
We celebrated the winners and participants of the essay competition "What Maria Theresia Means to You: Personally or in Relation to Ethiopia."
This theme sparked some truly fresh and powerful perspectives.

We were honored to welcome Ambassador Peter Huber, who joined us in awarding certificates and prizes to the remarkable winners and participants, alongside Ambassador Simone Knapp and distinguished delegates from the Austrian Embassy.🇦🇹🇪🇹

Saturday, we had the honor of hosting a special public lecture under the theme “Leading as a Woman: The Legacy of Maria Theresia.”

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for such a thoughtful and inspiring conversation on women’s leadership, history, and legacy. It was a privilege to welcome distinguished guests, Ambassadors, and many members of the diplomatic and academic community.

A special thank you to Dr. Belete Bizuneh, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology at AAU, for delivering such an engaging lecture, and to the Austrian Embassy for their valued partnership and support.

As we mark International Women’s Day, we are proud that this event brought together voices and stories that celebrate women’s leadership across cultures.
