Jonathon David Wilks is a English artist currently living in between Ibiza, Barcelona & London. Each piece of art is a time consuming labour of love, expressing his ideas & style in the best way possible, in whichever medium suits. The process is important, time consuming, built with purpose.

“What interests me is ‘the second look’ … Whether that is the way a painting looks different when viewed from another angle, or a print that ‘makes your brain work’ to decipher apposing images – a phrase which keeps emerging is : Hidden Depths“. Often building up layers of acrylic on canvas to create depth & shadows & convey movement. Or Juxtaposing images, playing with perspective & angles. Each piece necessitates a ‘second look’.
