Some projects become so much more than the artwork itself.

Creating my ape for JUMP AROUND GIB happened during one of the most challenging chapters of my life—recovering from a broken leg, saying goodbye to a close family member, and making three trips to Australia. Through it all, art remained my constant.

A heartfelt thank you to Amy and Phoebe at for your passion, encouragement, and incredible organisation. Thank you also to the Gibraltar Planning Department and Cultural Services for supporting this wonderful public art initiative.

To all the talented artists involved—it's been an honour to create alongside you. Together we've brought something colourful, inspiring, and lasting to Gibraltar.

✨ JUMP AROUND GIB is now officially opening (date to be confirmed) if you're visiting the trail, I'd love to know which ape is your favourite—and if you find mine, tag me in your photos! 🦍💛

Jump Around Gib brings together creatives for Rock-wide project

Local artists, schools and organisations are taking part in the recently announced project that will see 10 1.5m tall macaques placed around the Rock as part of a monkey trail.

Jump Around Gib is looking for sponsors for the macaques, which will feature at strategic locations for a year.

Claire Hernandez spoke to the local artists as they started painting their macaques, and asked how it felt to be part of the project.

Summer, Art & the Sea at White Square Sotogrande

This season, White Square Sotogrande presents a vibrant collection where art and the Mediterranean spirit come together. The paintings by Gill Welland capture the essence of summer through dynamic seascapes, expressive portraits, and a striking palette of deep blues, radiant oranges, and warm reds.

Complementing the exhibition are contemporary sculptures by Ariel Elizondo Lizarraga and Dani Broglio whose elegant forms introduce movement, balance, and dialogue throughout the gallery space.

We invite you to visit us, immerse yourself in these inspiring works, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Sotogrande Marina. As always, we remain committed to bringing new creations and fresh perspectives, offering artworks that resonate with a variety of tastes and styles.
