Audrey Bialke’s intimate oil paintings unfold through a meticulous interplay of detail, symbolism, and narrative.

Framed by intricate decorative borders, her compositions bring together animals, plants, domestic objects, and mythical figures, creating richly layered scenes where the everyday meets the fantastical. Drawing on the visual language of illuminated manuscripts and historical illustration, Bialke transforms familiar imagery into evocative contemporary allegories.

Vogue has long operated as more than a fashion magazine — for much of the twentieth century, its cover was a space where fine art crossed into mass circulation.

Salvador Dalí (1939) brought Surrealism directly onto the newsstand: a flower-headed figure, a skeletal ship stranded in the desert — imagery drawn straight from his painterly vocabulary, repurposed as fashion iconography.

Joan Miró was given the cover outright, translating his language of biomorphic form and primary color into a single, unmistakable image — no fashion content required to justify its presence.

Andy Warhol closed the century’s Pop chapter with a silkscreen portrait of Caroline of Monaco for Vogue Paris, applying the same mechanical repetition and flattened color he used for Marilyn or Mao to a contemporary royal.

And René Gruau, working across decades, defined what fashion illustration itself could look like — spare, gestural, theatrical — shaping the visual grammar the magazine would return to again and again.

Each cover reads less as an advertisement than as a brief loan from the artist’s own practice.

We’re thrilled to welcome Marta Troya to the gallery’s roster of artists.
Her practice spans weaving, ceramics, glass, and print, shaped by collaborations with artisans from Morocco to China and techniques learned directly in India — traditions where thread, dye, and clay carry protective, spiritual weight. Here, a soft pink ceramic form sits like a talisman at the center, while crimson threads burst outward across handmade paper like an offering caught mid-release. Craft folded into personal narrative; making as ritual, making as protection.

La obra de Fabre parte de recuerdos de color y emoción ligados a los paisajes de los Alpes Franceses de su infancia, donde desarrolló un temprano interés por la geología y los minerales. Faille (Rose) traduce esa fascinación en pintura: una fractura diagonal organiza el lienzo en dos registros cromáticos, como un corte que revela los estratos de la memoria.
