Madrid en septiembre tiene algo de Caribe sin saberlo: la luz dorada que rebota en las fachadas al atardecer, los mercados que vuelven a llenarse, la vida que se reorganiza en la calle. Este mes te proponemos un juego visual: buscar colores haitianos en tu rutina madrileña. El verde de un parque al amanecer, el azul profundo de una sombra bajo un toldo, el rojo de una bicicleta apoyada en una pared ocre. Cuando aprendes a mirar con la paleta del arte naíf, cualquier ciudad se convierte en un cuadro por descubrir.

Madrid in September has something Caribbean about it without knowing: the golden light bouncing off façades at sunset, the markets filling up again, life reorganizing itself on the street. This month we propose a visual game: find Haitian colors in your Madrid routine. The green of a park at dawn, the deep blue of a shadow under an awning, the red of a bicycle leaning against an ochre wall. En muchas obras haitianas, las escenas de trabajo y estudio no son solo documentación: son celebración. Mujeres que tejen, niños que aprenden, talleres que comparten conocimiento. Cada figura está pintada con dignidad y cada gesto cuenta una historia colectiva. Estas escenas nos recuerdan que el aprendizaje es comunitario, que el conocimiento se construye entre muchas manos y que septiembre, en cualquier lugar del mundo, es el mes de volver a aprender juntos.

In many Haitian works, scenes of work and learning are not just documentation: they are celebration. Women weaving, children learning, workshops sharing knowledge. Each figure is painted with dignity and each gesture tells a collective story.
