De las fluctuaciones y los traspases entre figuras preexistente y memoria están compuestas las pinturas de Elvira Amor. Las formas introducen pervivencias, pero no son las únicas. Los colores también aventuran recuerdos, la diferencia es que resultan inasibles. Tal vez por ello, la mezcla parece suceder ante nuestro visionado. Observarla permite intuir la cantidad de pigmento y agua aplicada. Recuperar sensaciones, efectos de atención sobre las cosas. Sin embargo, los tramos de amarillo, de azul, de blanco roto, solo inducen introspecciones. Nada de perfiles, de bordes concretos a través del color.

Elvira Amor’s paintings are composed of fluctuations and transfers between pre-existing forms and memory. Forms introduce lingering traces, but they are not alone in doing so. Colors, too, evoke memories; the difference is that they remain elusive. Perhaps for this reason, the mixing seems to take place before our eyes. Looking at it allows us to intuit the amount of pigment and water applied. To recover sensations and effects of attention directed toward things. And yet, the stretches of yellow, blue, and off-white induce only introspection. There are no profiles, no clearly defined edges shaped through color.
