‘Eterna Primavera’ is the new collection by the artist Joshua Perkin.

In this series there are clear visual references from local nature and architectural features surrounding the artist’s studio in rural Catalonia.

The works explore the complexities of the human condition and its multitude of contradictions: love and hate, melancholy and tenderness, celebration and mourning. The characters move through a half abstracted, half imagined universe that is difficult to place in both time and location, leaving us with a simultaneous feeling of both nostalgia and freshness.
