Some places are not just meant to be seen. They are meant to be painted.

Heading out into nature, setting up a small outdoor studio, preparing the brushes, and letting the landscape set the pace.

A day of plein air painting in Catalonia, surrounded by beautiful scenery, Mediterranean light, and silence. This is where the process begins: observing, choosing the composition, and capturing on canvas what a photograph can never fully express.

Plein air painting, landscape art, nature, and the creative process in one of those corners of Catalonia that makes you want to stay a little longer.

Some journeys stay with you long after you return.
Japan left me with fragments of color, water, movement and ancient symbols. Back in my studio, those memories gradually found their way onto the canvas.
This is what came out of it.

Un lugar muy interesante. En Hirosaki hay dos templos uno al lado del otro: uno budista y otro sintoísta. Es muy especial ver cómo dos tradiciones espirituales diferentes conviven literalmente puerta con puerta. Y en el templo budista hay un dragón impresionante.

A spring painting from the Mediterranean coast travels to Japan.

From May 16 to 18, 2026, my work will be presented at the Contemporary International Masters Painting Exhibition in Hirosaki, Japan.

It is a special moment to see my painting featured on the official exhibition poster. This artwork, filled with spring blossoms, Mediterranean light and a distant sea horizon, becomes part of an event that connects art, culture and a charitable mission: supporting children’s future through art.

The exhibition will bring together more than 120 artworks and art-related exhibits, creating a broad international cultural dialogue in Hirosaki.
