The mission of the gallery is to provide group and solo exhibition opportunities and international exposure for contemporary photographers around the world. To this end we invite emerging and established photographers to participate in our regular calls for entries for solo and themed group exhibitions. We have hosted a number of inspiring shows since we opened, and we have had the honour of exhib

iting works of talented photographers from all corners of the world. PH21 Gallery archives all photography exhibitions, allowing us to promote our exhibiting photographers to curators and collectors as well as the viewing public. Our website also functions as a virtual gallery site, and all photographs included in our exhibitions are presented on the dedicated page of the exhibition. Besides the gallery exhibitions and the online exposure, photographers selected for our shows now also enjoy two new features from January 2021:

We publish an exhibition catalogue with Blurb Books for each exhibition. The webpage and the catalogue of each exhibition include a juror’s review. The juror’s review provides a detailed review of the juror’s choice, shorter evaluations of the honourable mentions, and a one-sentence highlight of some of the other photographs included in the exhibition. The gallery director, Zsolt Bátori, is a philosopher of art and photographer. He is an associate professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at Kodolányi János University, where he currently serves as Head of the Research Centre for Art and Creative Industries. Zsolt also visits the University of Murcia, Spain for regular research collaboration. He has conducted research and taught philosophy of art and photography courses at various universities in Hungary, the United States, Spain and Argentina, and has exhibited his photographic work internationally. Zsolt is also the founder and director of PH21 Gallery. View Zsolt's website: http://www.zsoltbatori.com
