In Juan Escudero's new works, "Górliz" and "Torimbia HB", the sea becomes a poetic exploration of light, movement, and time. Through countless finely engraved lines, Escudero captures the subtle rhythms of the water, shifting from luminous blues to warm oranges, reds, and golden tones. A delicate balance between abstraction and nature, where precision and atmosphere create deeply contemplative landscapes.

In PelRas’ "Geometries" series, form is approached in its most essential and elemental state. Each work emerges from a continuous dialogue between geometry and gesture, light and matter, structure and intuition. Through subtle textures, natural tones, and a restrained exploration of volume, the artist allows form to become the primary vehicle of expression. Ceramics become a silent language that invites us to discover the beauty contained within.

Yesterday marked the inauguration of Penélope Clot’s new project at the church of Sant Llorenç de Das, a pictorial intervention that transforms the interior of the temple into a vast night sky inspired by the Perseids, the renowned "Tears of Saint Lawrence".

Through colour, lime painting, fresco secco and a ceramic installation, Penélope creates a dialogue between architecture, nature, spirituality and memory, offering a contemporary reading of this historic site in the Cerdanya region.

At Pigment Gallery, we would like to congratulate Penélope on this very special project and on the sensitivity with which she has approached a space so rich in history and meaning.

We are excited to announce the representation of French artist Louis Wallecan.

Born in Paris in 1979, Louis Wallecan is a multidisciplinary artist and film director whose practice moves between painting, photography, and cinema. His work explores the relationship between gesture, landscape, movement, and perception, creating a dialogue between image, matter, and emotion.

Since 2023, painting has become the core of his artistic research. Through large-scale abstract canvases, expressive gestures, and layered textures, Wallecan develops a raw and physical language where colour and material become vehicles of emotion.

We are looking forward to begin this new journey together and to share his work with our audience. You can discover his available works online via our website, Artsy, or Artnet (link in bio 🔗).
