تم افتتاح مركز محمود سعيد للمتاحف في ١٧ أبريل عام ٢٠٠٠، بفيلا الفنان محمود سعيد بمنطقة جناكليس بالإسكندرية، وذلك بعد أن أهدت أسرة الفنان الراحل الفيلا لوزارة الثقافة لتدخل مرحلة من التطوير وإعادة الصياغة، تحت إدارة قطاع الفنون التشكيلية، لتحويلها من مسكن خاص بأسرة الفنان إلى مركز فني يضم ثلاثة متاحف بالإضافة لقاعتين للعرض المتغير وقاعات للندوات والورش الفنية.
متحف محمود سعيد
يقع بالدور الأول من م
بنى الفيلا، ويضم عددا من لوحات الفنان إلى جانب مجموعة من مقتنياته الشخصية.
يعتبر محمود سعيد واحدا من رواد الفن المصري في مطلع القرن العشرين، وهي الفترة التي حاول فيها الفنانون والأدباء البحث عن صياغة تعكس الهوية المصرية، بعيدا عن التأثيرات الأوربية والعثمانية التي سيطرت على حياة الطبقات العليا في مصر.
متحف سيف وأدهم وانلي
يقع بالدور الثاني من المبنى، ويضم قاعة لأعمال الفنان أدهم وانلي، وباقي القاعات تعرض مراحل مختلفة من تجربة الفنان سيف وانلي وبعض من مقتنياته الشخصية
تعد تجربة للفنان سيف وانلي واحدة من أكثر التجارب المصرية ثراء وتنوعا في تقاطعها مع الحركات والأساليب الفنية، ويعرض المتحف نماذج لأهم المحطات في تلك التجربة.
متحف الفن الحديث
يقع في الدور السفلي من المبنى، وتضم قاعاته سردا بصريا لتاريخ الحركات الفنية في مصر، من جيل الرواد وحتى منتصف الثمانينيات تقريبا
Mahmoud Said Museums Center was inaugurated on April 17, 2000, in the villa of the artist Mahmoud Said in Janaklis, Alexandria, after the family of the late artist gifted the villa to the Ministry of Culture to enter a stage of development and reformulation, under the management of the Fine Arts Sector, to convert it from a residence for the artist's family to An art center that includes three museums, as well as two halls for changing displays, halls for seminars and art workshops. It is located on the first floor of the villa building, and houses a number of the artist’s paintings as well as a group of his personal possessions. Mahmoud Said is considered one of the pioneers of Egyptian art at the beginning of the twentieth century, a period in which artists and writers tried to search for a formulation that reflects the Egyptian identity, away from the European and Ottoman influences that dominated the life of the upper classes in Egypt. Seif and Adham Wanli Museum
It is located on the second floor of the building, and it includes a hall for the works of the artist Adham Wanli, and the rest of the halls display different stages of the artist's experience, Saif Wanli and some of his personal belongings
the artistic attempt of Saif Wanli is one of the richest and most varied in the history of Egyptian art, in its intersection with artistic movements and styles. The museum displays examples of the most important stations in his journey
The Museum of Modern Art
It is located in the basement of the building, and its halls contain a visual narration of the history of artistic movements in Egypt, from the generation of pioneers until the mid-1980s
