This is the King List of Abydos - a 3,200-year-old stone record carved during the reign of Seti I.
It documents 76 pharaohs who ruled Egypt before him. The first โ€œdatabaseโ€ in human history.

What struck me most as a tour guide isnโ€™t just the hieroglyphs.
Itโ€™s the mindset behind it: Ancient Egyptians didnโ€™t just build monuments.
