In this space, beings exist side by side as if they are remembering a single dream.
A dream that begins with a child’s game and continues as an unceasing movement.
‎في هذا الفضاء، تتجاور الكائنات كما لو أنها تتذكّر حلمًا واحدً.
‎حلمٌ يبدأ بلعبة طفل، ويستمر كحركة لا تهدأ.

As part of our Hiwar Series, we organised an informal seminar with the participating artists of Masr Wallada 2026.

The talk explored 3 areas: foundations of artist portfolio, selection criteria of the Prix Masr Wallada, and artist /gallery relationship.

Thank you to all artists who attended and for an extremely productive seminar.

Berba: The Egyptian House of The Soul
“Berba” is an Arabic word derived from two ancient Egyptian terms: Pr, meaning house, and Ba. meaning soul. Early Arabs used the word al-Berba (singular) and al-Baraby (plural) to refer to ancient Egyptian temples — understood as houses of the soul.
