في هذه الجلسة من GEM Talks بعنوان «ما وراء الشاشة: من الفكرة إلى التأثير»، تكشف لنا السيناريست مريم نعوم السر وراء قوة كتاباتها: شغفها الدائم بتفاصيل المجتمع الذي تعيش فيه.

من النسيج الاجتماعي المعقد في فيلمها الأول «واحد صفر» وصولاً إلى أعمالها الحالية، تعد مسيرة مريم نعوم دليلاً على قوة الملاحظة؛ حيث تؤكد أن أسلوبها السردي ينبع من رغبة صادقة في جعل الجمهور يتفاعل مع القصة ويشعر برابط حقيقي مع الشخصيات. بالنسبة لنعوم، يكمن دور الكاتب في طرح القضايا الهامة دون خوف أو تردد، مؤمنةً بأن الصدق في التناول هو ما يفتح أبواب الحوار الحقيقي.

من أرشيف GEM Talks «ما وراء الشاشة: من الفكرة إلى التأثير»، شارك المخرج عمر هلال كواليس فيلمه الجديد أضعف خلقه، وكيف بدأت فكرته من لحظة بسيطة على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعى، لتتحول إلى عمل يناقش علاقتنا بالحيوانات ويعيد طرح تساؤلات مهمة حول كيفية تعاملنا معها.

ومن خلال رحلته، أوضح كيف يمكن للسينما أن تتجاوز الترفيه، لتفتح بابًا للنقاش وتدفعنا لإعادة التفكير في قضايا إنسانية قد لا نلتفت إليها.

وهنا يأتي دور GEM Talks،
منصة تتحول فيها الأفكار إلى حوارات… والحوار إلى تأثير.

Can one idea spark a whole movement?

From the GEM Talks archive, Beyond the Screen: From Idea to Impact, award-winning director Omar Hilal shared the story behind his upcoming film *His Weakest Creatures* (Ad3af Khal2o). What started as a simple moment online evolved into a powerful narrative shaped by his deep connection to animals and a desire to question how we perceive and treat them.

Through his process, Hilal highlighted how storytelling can push audiences to look beyond what’s familiar, opening up conversations around empathy, responsibility, and overlooked social issues.

This is what GEM Talks is all about. A space where ideas turn into conversations, and conversations into change.
