Nermine Hakim
Egyption artist born, raised and living in Cairo, Egypt. Studied political science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo university (1979) alongside of free art studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo for about five years. Her artwork usually varies between abstract expressionism and nonobjective abstract using oil, acrylic and mixed media.
“To me art is a kind of spiritual journey, it is individual and personal. It can’t be organized nor predicted. I believe art is a continuous journey of search, experiment and self discovery, you never arrive but you keep going.”
