AL MASAR GALLERY | Contemporary Art is delighted to announce that it has finalized the acquisition of a unique Ceramic and Metal Contemporary Sculpture by Gallery Artist HAMDI ATTIA (B. 1964). The sculpture is from the Artist’s 1997 collection and it will be part of the permanent Collection of the ”International Ceramic Museum” in Weiden, Bavaria, Germany.

Al Masar Gallery is also pleased that an Artwork by the Artist “Titled: Klimt & Habibullah” has been acquired in a special Auction at Chicago Institute, USA, which was sold at 450% over its estimate.

AL MASAR GALLERY proudly congratulates Gallery Artist, Sculptor Dr. ESSAM DARWISH (also the head of the Board of trustees of Adam Hunein Foundation) on Granting the important and valuable “The Sultan Qabous high Center for Culture and Science’s Prize in the Arts and Literature, 2025”... The Prize comes in recognition of Darwish’s 37 years long path into the Art of Sculpture.

With a lot of Pride, Al Masar Gallery congratulates His Excellency the Visionary Minister and Artist Farouk Hosny on the Opening of his long-awaited dream of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

I am proud to have witnessed the start of this Journey back in the 90’s, when i have accompanied H. E. Minister Farouk Hosny at his first site visit to that vast empty land where the Museum now stands. As we entered the site from its solo far west end accesses point , we had a long walk to finally reach the highest tip point of the site where one can see clearly the great Pyramids plateau and that’s where the Museum was built. I realized then that I didn’t walk into a large empty land but into a Divine and rich Dream on its way to be one day a reality, and finally the day has come...

Following this visit, I accompanied Italian Architect and Publisher Franco Maria Ricci to view the Site, then again with the Reporter from Italian Newspaper La Repubblica who published an early article about the future Museum, and every time I imagine and dream of witnessing that new Dawn of Ancient Egyptian Civilization gathered under this Museum’s roof. As Minister, Artist Farouk Hosny always said to me: It all begins with an insightful vision and a Dream… Now that Dream came true.
