🔖 بمناسبة ذكرى فك رموز الكتابة المصرية القديمة، يعرض متحف الشرطة القومي قطعة شهر سبتمبر ٢٠٢٦م، وهي ختم بيضاوي الشكل مصنوع من الفخار، يحيط به إطار يتوسطه نقوش هيروغليفية غائرة تمثل اسم التتويج الرسمي للملك توت عنخ آمون، وهو «نب خِبرو رع»، والذي يعني «سيد تجليات رع»، ليقدم شاهدًا أثريًا على استخدام العلامات والرموز في التعبير والتوثيق منذ آلاف السنين.
وقد شكّل فك رموز حجر رشيد نقطة تحول في تاريخ دراسة الحضارة المصرية القديمة، إذ أتاح قراءة الكتابة الهيروغليفية وفهم النصوص والنقوش التي حفظت لنا جانبًا كبيرًا من تاريخ مصر وحضارتها. وتكتسب هذه القطعة، المعروضة بمتحف الشرطة القومي بقلعة صلاح الدين الأيوبي، أهمية خاصة في مشهد يجمع بين شواهد من عصور مختلفة من التاريخ المصري.
ومن النقوش الهيروغليفية على هذا الختم إلى نصوص حجر رشيد، تظل العلامات والكتابات شاهدًا على قدرة الإنسان المصري على تسجيل أفكاره وحفظ ذاكرته، لتصل إلينا عبر آلاف السنين وتروي جانبًا من قصة حضارته.

🔖 On the occasion of the anniversary of the decipherment of ancient Egyptian writing, the National Police Museum presents its Object of the Month for September 2026: an oval-shaped clay seal, surrounded by a frame bearing a recessed hieroglyphic inscription representing the official coronation name of King Tutankhamun, “Nebkheperure,” meaning “Lord of the Manifestations of Re.” The seal stands as an archaeological testament to the use of signs and symbols for expression and documentation thousands of years ago.
The decipherment of the Rosetta Stone marked a turning point in the study of ancient Egyptian civilization, making it possible to read hieroglyphic writing and understand the texts and inscriptions that have preserved a significant part of Egypt’s history and civilization. Displayed at the National Police Museum within the Citadel of Salah al-Din, this artifact holds special significance as part of a setting that brings together archaeological witnesses from different periods of Egyptian history.
From the hieroglyphic inscriptions on this seal to the texts of the Rosetta Stone, signs and writing remain a testament to the ability of the ancient Egyptians to record their ideas and preserve their memory, allowing their legacy to reach us thousands of years later and tell part of the story of their civilization.
