✨ يحتفل العالم في شهر أغسطس باليوم العالمي للعمل الإنساني، وذلك تقديرًا لكل جهد يُبذل لتخفيف معاناة الإنسان وقت الأزمات، بدون تمييز لدين أو جنس أو عرق، فهو يقدم الإغاثة الإنسانية لأي شخص في أي وقت. وهي منظمة تطوعية مستقلة هدفها مساعدة المنكوبين في الحروب والكوارث.
ومن أهم هذه المؤسسات جمعية الهلال الأحمر المصري..
حيث ارتبط القصر الملكي بالمشاركة في الأعمال الإنسانية، فالملكة نازلي عبد الرحيم صبري (والدة الملك فاروق) كانت راعية للهلال الأحمر، وابنتها الأميرة فائزة فؤاد كانت عضوة نشطة في الهلال الأحمر، حيث تولت أختها الأميرة فائقة فؤاد رئاسة الهلال الأحمر المصري.

💫 شارة لجنة سيدات الهلال الأحمر، عبارة عن ميدالية من الذهب مستديرة الشكل، أحد وجهيها إطار مغطى بالمينا البيضاء، بوسطه هلال داخل دائرة مستديرة، والهلال مغطى بالمينا الحمراء، وباقي الدائرة مغطى بالمينا البيضاء، وبين الدائرتين غصن زيتون بارز. ويعلو الميدالية تاج من الذهب مغطى بالمينا الزرقاء والحمراء والبيضاء، ويعلو التاج هلال ونجمة.
أما الوجه الآخر للميدالية فمكتوب عليه "نازلي"، ويعلوه التاج، متصل بها من أعلى شريط من الستان الأحمر به تقليم أبيض، وبه محبس من الذهب مستطيل مكتوب عليه (لجنة سيدات الهلال الأحمر)، ومغطاة فراغاته بالمينا البيضاء، ويماثله من أعلى مستطيل آخر من الذهب مكتوب عليه ١٣٥٩ هجريًا - ١٩٤٠ ميلاديًا، ومغطاة فراغاته بالمينا البيضاء.
Every year on August 19, the world celebrates World Humanitarian Day in appreciation of all efforts made to alleviate human suffering during times of crisis, without discrimination based on religion, gender, or race.
It is an independent voluntary organization aimed at providing humanitarian relief and assisting victims of wars and disasters.
One of the most important institutions in Egypt is the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.
⚡ The royal palace was closely linked to this humanitarian work:
👑 Queen Nazli Sabri, mother of King Farouk, was a patron of the Red Crescent.
👑 Princess Faiza Fouad was an active member.
👑 Princess Faika Fouad served as President of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.

💫 Ladies' Committee Red Crescent Badge
A circular gold medal.
Obverse: A frame covered with white enamel, with a red crescent inside a white circular field, surrounded by a raised olive branch. It is topped with a gold crown decorated with blue, red, and white enamel, surmounted by a crescent and star.
Reverse: Inscribed with "Nazli" and topped with a crown. It is attached to a red satin ribbon with white trim, featuring a rectangular gold clasp inscribed with "Ladies' Committee of the Red Crescent", with white enamel inlay.
Above it is another rectangular gold piece dated (1359 AH – 1940 AD), also with white enamel inlay.
