*Crafting Connections:
Manufacturing and using materials in ancient Egypt *
How did ancient Egyptian craftspeople work with fire, stone, colour and materials, even creating new materials? And what can modern experiments, archaeological discoveries and traditional craftsmanship tell us about the techniques behind some of Egyptโs most remarkable objects?
Join us for Crafting Connections, an international programme bringing together archaeologists, museum professionals, scientists and heritage craft practitioners from Egypt, the UK, USA and Prague to exchange knowledge and explore the making of objects in ancient Egypt.
