In her new series of paintings, Saskia Järve continues the theme of her exhibition “Becoming New.” She focuses on the human ability to change and recreate oneself — upon waking in the morning, we begin, as if, to assemble ourselves again in preparation for the day ahead. Stepping out of bed, we take the first step, then the second; each step is new, everything begins to move. Morning washing becomes a metaphor for renewal.

The title of Marta Vaarik’s exhibition “So What” plays on the Estonian word 𝑢̈𝑘𝑠𝑘𝑜̃𝑖𝑘, which suggests letting go and, through that, inner peace - meaning both one and everything at the same time. The painting series leaves space for the viewer to think, and perhaps also to feel, for themselves.

Liisa Jugapuu’s abstract work explores the tension between balance, movement, and colour.
Her paintings emerge through an intuitive and highly physical process. Colour and movement guide the composition, and meaning takes shape through the act of painting itself.
Jugapuu is interested in how abstract painting can convey experience and state without image or narrative, and how rhythm, colour, and tension come together to create a compelling whole for the viewer.
