Discover a house museum dedicated to the life and work of the Czech-Ecuadorian artist and Holocaust survivor Trude Sojka: a benchmark of the ability of human beings to overcome and transform adversity. We are a Holocaust Memorial in Ecuador, and an art museum, seeking to promote awareness in our public, about overcoming society's traumas. Trude Sojka's art and experience are an example of how we m
ay reach equilibrium and unity individually and in the world. Our work is to promote peace, interculturality and keep alive the awarenes, memory and the consequences for all humanity of the Holocaust as well as other genocides, through the life and work of Trude Sojka and her family. We aspire to become an interactive and artistic community lab, where our education goal would be a horizontal dialog, an exchange of ideas, a place of cultural and intercultural experimentation, bearing in mind that racism, antisemitism, and prejudice are not over, and therefore, awareness about the Holocaust and other genocides is extremely important, especially for future generations. We want to sensitize children, youth and adults on these issues, through visits to the museum, meeting groups, exhibitions, art workshops, education for Peace, among others. Our main values are integrity, honesty, and respect (for humanity and the environment). WE OPEN ONLY BY APPOINTMENT.
