🌎🌊 Last week, on May 19–20, the Origins Museum of Nature, together with the Museum of the Origins of Science and the Geo Research Institute, participated in the Science & Business Connection event, held in São José dos Campos (SP), Brazil.
During the event, the study “Tsunamis in the Galápagos: Risks, Monitoring, and Alignment with the SDGs” was presented, highlighting the importance of scientific monitoring and the study of extreme natural phenomena in the Galápagos Islands.
The research was developed jointly with the partner institutions and presented by collaborating scientist Isaías Paulino Soares. The study of tsunamis contributes to strengthening prevention strategies, resilience, and the understanding of the natural dynamics that shape our planet.
Participation in the event also reinforces the Origins Museum of Nature’s commitment to scientific research, knowledge dissemination, and the pursuit of understanding the Origins present in nature and its processes.
Science is also about understanding natural phenomena and investigating the Origins. 🌊🔬
