Powergirl!

Alright, this started initially as a study after Belen Ortega, who's line work and energy I've adored for a long time. So halfway through the study I like to deviate away a little bit sometimes and turn the study into it's own little thing. To me that's a fun way of combining study and having fun together in one. Two birds, one rock, as they say! And that's where this came from. 😊

Heck, I've even made a whole new line art brush today, just for the crispy details. My old one's way too fuzzy for precise stuff I've realized! I think it's on the right path for now, at least!

Anyway, it's been busy times here, maximizing the hours lately has been tricky but at least I got this out of it today. Hope you'll like it! 😊😉

Supergirl!

Here's something fun I wanted to tinker with in my spare time. I got inspired by the variety of covers of her flying around and wanted to add in some nice doves, which led me to then study those for a bit. Fast track back to this and here's where we're at now! It was fun and the digital pencils seem roughly where I want them to be at, well roughly. I probably will think differently tomorrow as per usual.

Black Cat - Marvel Rivals edition!

Yeah I'll have to admit, she's becoming a bit of a comfort character lately. Too fun to draw! Still won't surpass Wonder Woman though. 😅So today I'm relaxing a bit more and doing some fun stuff and tinkering around with things. Commissions are underway and things are pretty much back on track like it used to be!

X-Men's Magik!

Based on her Marvel Rivals look. Had this piece in the works for a while and honestly I've just been trying out many things with this one. I figured it was time to round out the cast with some more X-Men stuff!

This little penciling brush is coming a long way! It's still not perfect, but it's fun enough to tinker with, without pulling my hair out. And under certain circumstances I can get quite a bit of detail out of it too. I probably will never find the one digital tool that can replicate the look and feel of traditional but one can dream. 😂

Wonder Woman!

It's good to return to a character I know just about inside out! So for today's piece it was about time I gave DC's amazon queen some proper respect.

Elektra! 11x17 Traditional Copic Marker piece, and one of my more favorite ones I had the pleasure to work on. A lot of things came together nicely that week. I'm currently working out the pencils for a few other pieces so have this one in the meantime!

Who's ready for some Teen Titans based art? Here's Raven! 😊🔥

I had this one on the backburner for quite some time, and since the initial draft was inked as far back as 2023, figured I'd work it from the ground up again and see where I could take it today.

What are some of your favorite heroes/villains? I'd like to pick one or two from the crowd to draw! The next few posts will be most likely slightly more DC oriented, but surprise me with your thoughts, who knows!

X-Men's Psylocke!

I haven't really drawn her enough this year, time to change that! This was done in between some commission stuff today and I got some news on that front, in fact! I've gotten a lot of requests for commission spots lately and honestly, I haven't replied yet because I wanted to be mentally in a good spot again to take on more work. This year's been incredibly rough and the last thing is delivering subpar or rushed work.

So with that said I'll be opening the list for a few more slots for this year in the next few days to come, keep your eyes peeled for more info because it will be first come, first serve! Then again, I may just slot the rest into 2027. Eh, more on that later!

Xena: Warriors Princess!🔥

Probably the first time I've actually drawn her, despite me being I'm a big fan of the show. Well, first time for everything, I guess it was finally time I did so!

Most of this was done with just a single pencil brush using a few layers with different opacity levels. Figured it'd be fun to see what I could achieve by just doing that. There's room for improvement, but it was fun!😄

Black Cat! Marvel Rivals edition!
Today I'm taking things simple and I'm just pencilling away for the love of it. Honestly she's starting to become a go-to character lately!

Real talk though, I'm still transitioning back to work and my current workflow isn't working for me anymore, so while I say I'm relaxing right now with this, I'm in fact using a lot of blood sweat and tears to get anything meaningful down on the canvas, haha. 😅
