🟨 FORNEMT BESØG PÅ LEEDS UNITED MUSEUM I JUELSMINDE.
English 🇬🇧👇

🟨 GREAT VISIT TO THE LEEDS UNITED MUSEUM IN JUELSMINDE 🇬🇧
Saturday marked a big day in the short history of the Leeds United Museum.
I had the honour of welcoming 14 wonderful men from the football world: former players, current TV commentators and passionate fans.
One of the guests and the initiator of the visit was former Danish national player, TV commentator and football expert Morten Bruun, who through his work and books has truly shown his great love for English football.
He was joined by the popular TV commentator Thomas Kristensen, who is currently very much in the spotlight, including a recent visit to Italy to see Rasmus Højlund. Morten and Thomas will be covering Sunday’s match between Brøndby IF and FC Midtjylland.
Among the guests was also Claus Bech Jørgensen, who in 2001 was brought to AC Horsens by Troels Bech. Claus was spotted playing for AGF’s reserve team and quickly made his mark at AC Horsens with many impressive goals. However, Claus wanted more and personally reached out to clubs in England in hopes of securing a trial.
He succeeded in earning a contract with Bournemouth, where he was named Player of the Year in his first season. This marked the beginning of 10 fantastic years at clubs such as Bournemouth, Bradford City, Blackpool, and Coventry.
Claus played around 250 matches in English football and encountered, among others, Gary McAllister as manager at Coventry. He played alongside Andy Gray, son of Frank Gray, had Frank Gray as his agent, and played under Jimmy Armfield at Blackpool. We had a great conversation about all of this.
It is also always fantastic to welcome visitors from Team Kolding, including Per Lundbak, Per Frederiksen, and Kaj Knudsen.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the museum, it was truly a pleasure, including for the man in red…!
Finally, many thanks to Per Lundbak for the absolutely brilliant thank-you song, top, top class.
