🟨 BRIAN CLOUGH’S 44 DAYS AT LEEDS 🇬🇧

Brian Clough’s brief spell at Leeds United is one of the many fascinating stories featured at my Leeds United Museum.

YouTube is a gift, with so much footage available from Leeds United’s magnificent history.

There’s a famous photo from the 1974 Charity Shield match against Liverpool at Wembley, showing Brian Clough leading Leeds out onto the pitch. Nobody seems particularly keen to play for him! 😄

🟨 NYT GAMMEL PROGRAM ANKOMMET! 💛💙🇩🇰

English below 🇬🇧

🟨 A NEW OLD PROGRAMME HAS ARRIVED! 💛💙🇬🇧

It is with great joy and excitement that I have managed to purchase the programme from the 1965 FA Cup Final between Leeds United and Liverpool FC.

A big thank you to Arsenal fan Jesper Arnsbjerg for putting me in touch with this unique match programme, which is in excellent condition.

Unfortunately, we lost 2–1 (1–1) after a replay, but what a match, fantastic football from both teams, and what a world-class commentator! Enjoy listening to him.

Here you can watch the highlights from the match. ⚽💛💙

🟨 KENDER DU HAM? 🇩🇰

English 🇬🇧 below.

DO YOU KNOW HIM? 🇬🇧

The man who always turns the volume up to 22 when Leeds are playing?

The man who might even change his Leeds shirt during the match if Leeds are just missing that little bit extra?

The man who asks his sweet wife Louise to leave the TV room if Leeds are behind and need a boost? 😄

I know him well – both personally and through the stories about him.

In June, Louise Ravnkilde gave her husband Niels Christian a visit to the Leeds United Museum to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. What a beautiful gesture. 💛💙

A huge thank you for your visit. It was fantastic to meet you both – and, not least, thank you for the wonderful donation to the museum, and for the lovely gift from Hornvarefabrikken in Lemvig for Tove, in return for “borrowing” my time on a Friday afternoon. 😊

Dear Louise and Niels Christian, have a fantastic evening in Aarhus tonight. 💛💙

🟨 THE GRATITUDE IS SKY-HIGH! 🇬🇧

Being honoured as “Chairman of Leeds United in Denmark” from the stage in the Centenary Pavilion, in front of 1,000 Leeds fans — that was certainly something I never saw coming!

And then to officially be presented with a beautiful box containing a stunning Leeds United pen.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience, as was receiving some amazing donations from, among others:

Paul Dougherty – a 1990s Leeds shirt signed by Vinnie Jones and Chris Fairclough.

Lisa Toon – US Tour programmes from the Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool games, plus a huge programme from the matches against Manchester United in Dublin.

Allan Bo Petersen – an iconic and incredibly unique Leeds United coffee mug featuring the city coat of arms — a mug Allan was given by his father in 1975!

Julie Trimble – a fabric napkin from Leeds United’s USA Tour in the summer of 2026.

Bernd Borup and Jens Busk – a painted photograph of legendary Billy Bremner with a cigarette in his mouth.

Dermot Morris and Kevin Morris Jr. – a painted photograph of Gary McAllister, from this wonderful father and son all the way from Australia.

A huge thank you to all of you for these wonderful donations — you will all be forever remembered at the Leeds United Museum in Denmark. 🇩🇰💙💛

There was also the purchase of the official match programme from the 1972 FA Cup Final between Leeds United and Arsenal.

That was the very match when I became a Leeds United fan for life.

Plus the purchase of the 2025 CS winning team, framed with all the players’ autographs.

And a beautiful navy blue Leeds United Premier League T-shirt from a couple of young English lads whose names I haven’t quite got yet. The contact was made through Allan Bo Petersen.

And then there were the fantastic meetings with Lukas Radebe, Jonathan Howson, Jon Newsome, Neil Aspin and, of course, good old 80-year-old Paul Reaney.

And naturally, Leeds legend Terry “On Tour” Hansen, as well as Leeds legend and author Heidi Haigh.

What an incredible trip — together with 32 participants, 25 of whom were visiting Leeds for the very first time.

And what an experience meeting so many friendly people who showed such great respect for “our” museum concept in Denmark.

🟨 TAKNEMMELIGHEDEN ER TÅRNHØJ! 🇩🇰
