Knights in Dark Nights, 2017
5 color screen print on heavy weight cardstock measuring 44 x 58,7 cm. Edition of 76, signed and numbered by the artist.
“Having made a couple of silkscreen print abroad mostly from digital files i was exited to get a chance to print with Zven from Cultpump Powerhouse which i knew was up for making a print with a more handmade approach. In a time where everything is being computerized to death, and as i suspected , this was satifying. I am grateful that Zven was up for the task and let me handcolor the film and do everything backwards and just go with the flow and try to make those failures fruitful. I played with the idea of a somewhat sloppy playful line. One where things not necessarily looked exactly as expected or might just look like a whimsical doodle or how an object could look like. It’s a drawing of a slain knight, a totem-like geenie in a pot, an anti-hero image.”
