In Nanna Due and Andrew Nelson’s Everything is Computer (2025) we are tossed through a collapsing digital reality that implies the imagined speed and decay if we follow the Landic notion of accelerationism. When all structures are forced to break and burst into chaos, it sends ripples through not only reality, but how we view both real and imaginary.

Experience Nanna Due & Andrew Nelson’s work “everything is computer” in the exhibition xÆTER from the 3rd
of December – 15th of March at Fredericiagade 12B at Captive Portal.

Adriana: Every sound around us is part of a symphony we can reshape using our imagination.
Music morphs into what we need it to be, and this realization opens up a world of sounds beyond the expected.
I enjoy mixing in elements of what became mundane chaos, the sounds that are part of this world, sometimes gone unnoticed or
drowned in the river of noises.
Seldom the perception of sounds differs based on the context, and so this opens up a palette of "colors" to play with.
This is the road I'm currently on, my journey is just beginning and I hope I can help spark ideas out there.
Never stop imagining, never stop creating!

of December – 15th of March at Fredericiagade 12B at Captive Portal.

In today’s society, in which economics, politics, and technology are bound up in a very complex manner,
bullerup_autoservice cannot be a decorative element serving a state or an ideology. bullerup_autoservice
must be one of the media that serves to provoke doubt and defiance in us: it is a provocative communication
between you and me.bullerup_autoservice:

*Not to give false impression
Which could well be our intention
The jumble of fragments does not in any way constitute an altogether doctrine
These materials are accumulated by chance encounter
Expressions gleaned out of order under sometimes dubious circumstances
To expose these elements in all their incompleteness
Just this once
As thrash theory*

Petukhina: “I am exploring an alternative way of “sound out” contemporary environmental, social, mental,
andtechnological crises. My creative attention is focused on studying issues related to the ecology of thediet
and its impact on society. I want to create places, states, and an atmosphere where I want to bein harmony
with the environment and socio-cultural space. I propose possible solutions to the effects of sound pollution
and create a vision of a possible future using the language of art and technology, as well as trying to challenge
history and its artistic heritage through the prism of digital and technological innovations.”

Andreasen: My name is Karen Andreasen, I live in Trekroner studying Humanistic Technology at RUC. I
work at the intersection of human experience, technological spaces and ecological structures. My artistic
practice centers around how coded and computational logic can merge with biological sensibilities. Through
audiovisual installations and multi-media sculptures I intend to explore how these intertwined systems might
collaborate and how it affects the human relationship with technology, nature and our own position in the
digital age.

Constructing specimen geometry...Meghan Thréinfhir is an artist, educator, and curator whose work bridges science, technology, and
spirituality. Using materials such as seaweed, copper, wax, and bog batteries, she builds constructions that
explore speculative relationships between witchcraft, animism, and scientific thought. Her recent projects
engage holographic theory, logic gates, and wormholes, reimagining technology as a means of connection
rather than control.
Thréinfhir developed & teaches Witch Tech, a series of courses that intertwine Python programming with
philosophical inquiry into technology’s roots in craft and divination. Her exhibitions include the solo
presentation Wormhole Animism at Steve Gilbert Studio (Seattle), the group exhibition Once Upon An Instant at
HTW Berlin, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and the solo exhibition and residency Bog Memory /
Computer Memory at Captive Portal (Copenhagen). Drawing from alchemy, her Irish ancestry, and speculative
physics, Thréinfhir blurs the boundaries between art and science, inviting a contemplative encounter with the
cosmos and the entangled forces that sustain it.

os.”

"My artistic work explores the space between the digital and the physical in our contemporary world. We have the opportunity to examine identity, expression, memory, and environment in the borderland between the physical and the digital, and we do so even unconsciously. Our digital presence directly influences our perception of reality and ourselves. We are given unique opportunities for self-expression and identity that can challenge norms, language, and the understanding of social interactions. The digital realm allows for a kind of complete control, a level of control that is difficult to achieve in physical spaces. In my practice, I explore the ways we interact with the digital, but also the way computers and software communicate back to us."

Captive Portal invites artists and musicians to apply for the KIOSK
exhibition x ÆTER at Fredericiagade 12B

We are looking for collaborative or solo video and/or audio works that dwell on how the X appears in late stage capitalism as an authenticator of co-operative overconsumption. Equally we wish to see works that dwell on how the digital era's aetheric qualities can be translated into something almost physical in the chosen mediums or a merging of both X and aether.

You will find more info at oerum.org/grav/kristoffer/captiveportal.

The duration of the Open Call is from when you see this till the 30th of
October - Vernissage will be announced later.

For inquiries and application please contact [email protected]

HomeCTRL
Captive Portal, Fredericiagade 12B, Copenhagen K
September 22–26, from 12–3 PM

How does it feel when the home becomes transparent—when walls can be penetrated by gazes and hands that control from a distance?

In the installation HomeCTRL, Kassandra Wellendorf and Kristin Veel examine how technology imperceptibly transforms the home into a place where presence and absence are woven together, and where care can slide into control.

Through cinematic works and video projections, the exhibition unfolds narratives about reaching out, caring for, and monitoring—from the loving gesture to the transgressive act.

HomeCTRL invites reflection on how remote control shapes our relationships and turns the home into a space characterized by both power and vulnerability.

Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, Danish Film Directors, Danish Playwrights, the Independent Research Fund Denmark (the research project Drone Imaginaries and Communities), and the Carlsberg Foundation (the research project Uncertain Archives).
