Letzte Chance! 🐾 Noch eine Woche könnt ihr die Ausstellung "Tiersich was los!" in der Hirschwirtscheuer in Künzelsau erleben, und für den Publikumspreis abstimmen.

Im Herzen der Künzelsauer Altstadt ist der Ort seit 1989 Heimat für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst. Zum ersten Mal richtete die Sammlung Würth 2026 hier einen Kunstwettbewerb für Kinder, Jugendliche und Schulklassen aus Baden-Württemberg aus – rund 1000 junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler haben ihre tierischen Werke eingereicht. Inspiriert von Tomi Ungerer, HAP Grieshaber, Ray Smith, Nadin Maria Rüfenacht und Karel Appel zeigt die Ausstellung eine beeindruckende Vielfalt an Kreativität.

Kommt vorbei: Bis zum 6. September 2026, Mittwoch bis Sonntag von 11-17 Uhr zu sehen. Der Eintritt ist frei!

Located in the heart of Künzelsau’s old town, the venue has been a home for modern and contemporary art since 1989. In 2026, Würth Collection hosted its first art competition here for children, teenagers, and school classes from Baden-Württemberg – around 1,000 young artists submitted their animal-themed works. Inspired by Tomi Ungerer, HAP Grieshaber, Ray Smith, Nadin Maria Rüfenacht, and Karel Appel, the exhibition showcases an impressive variety of creativity.

Visit us: On view until September 6, 2026, Wednesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free!

Das war das Künzelsauer FerienSpaß-Programm in den Museen Würth🎨➡️

In der Hirschwirtscheuer gingen die Kinder erst auf Safari durch die Kunstwettbewerbsausstellung "Tierisch was los!" und gestalteten anschließend fantastische Tiermasken.

Im Museum Würth haben sich die Kinder von Gertrude Reum inspirieren lassen, eigene Skulpturen gestaltet und diese anschließend als kleine Kuratorinnen und Kuratoren auf dem Museumslageplan platziert.

“Alles außer Pinsel!“, das war das Motto für die Aktion im Museum Würth 2. Nach einer Entdeckungstour durch die Ausstellung "FOCUS", bei der mit Watte, Schwämmen und Fingern experimentiert wurde, und einem Picknick im Museumsgarten wurde mit verschiedenen Materialien weitergearbeitet.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Kinder, Familien und Begleitungen, die unsere Künzelsauer FerienSpaß-Wochen so besonders gemacht haben.🎉

Yesterday our Sculpture “Woman in the Rock" by Stephan Balkenhol has returned to Salzburg’s Toscaninihof following conservation work.

The approximately 140-centimetre-high wooden figure was carefully removed at the end of May 2026 and restored by the artist himself in his studio in Germany. It has now been reinstalled in the niche of the rock face for which it was created.

Since 2007, "Woman in the Rock" has been part of Salzburg’s Walk of Modern Art. It forms a counterpart to Balkenhol’s "Sphaera" on Kapitelplatz. Both artworks have been part of Würth Collection since 2013 and are on permanent loan to the City of Salzburg.

Gertrude Reum's artwork titled "Verbindungen" (EN: Connections) asks you to slow down. Through her paintings and sculptures, the artist has created spaces and worlds, capturing phenomena such as light and movement. 37 Jahre, 103 Ausstellungen
Mit „Tierisch was los!“ verabschiedet sich die Hirschwirtscheuer in Künzelsau am 6. September 2026 nach 37 Jahren als Ausstellungshaus der Sammlung Würth.
Bis Ende 2027 entsteht an ihrer Stelle ein barrierefreier Neubau, der das benachbarte Kulturhaus Würth um Räume für Veranstaltungen, Tagungen und weitere Begegnungen erweitert.

Danke, Hirschwirtscheuer, für fast 40 Jahre voller Kunst, Geschichte und gemeinsamer Erlebnisse.

37 Years, 103 Exhibitions
With “Tierisch was los!” (“Having a Wild Time!”), Hirschwirtscheuer in Künzelsau bids farewell on September 6, 2026 as an exhibition venue of Würth Collection.
But this is not the end of the story: by the end of 2027, a new, barrier-free building will take its place, expanding the neighbouring Kulturhaus Würth with spaces for events, meetings and new encounters.

At the heart of Stella Hamberg’s sculptural language is the human figure: a continuous dialogue between artist and material. In "à travers la tête", she turns her gaze inward, shaping bronze into a quiet, self-contained presence.

Free from pose or narrative, the work seems to withdraw from our attention, only to meet us, simply and directly, at eye level.

The exhibition "Stella Hamberg. 16th Robert Jacobsen Prize of the Würth Foundation" is on view in the Belvedere of Museum Würth 2 and the Würth Sculpture Garden in Künzelsau until November 8, 2026. Open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Admission is free!
