With an enigmatic and sublime visuality, Lisandra Isabel's works allude to a parallel reality. Through paintings, installations and objects, Lisandra seeks to carefully capture the conceptual and formal themes that interest her, without disassociating herself from everyday life. The expressive force that emerges from her work refers to an illusory ideal, where the corporeal is presented as an explicit and sensual weapon, without getting involved in gender discourses; it is an anti-romantic, but aesthetic reflection of a non-visible world. Through critical and realistic language, she has established links between beauty and the intimacy of the human being. Monochrome and vibrant pigments dialogue in her visual proposal, expanding into a representation of the artist's domestic and personal life.
