NEW ARTISTS SHOW ✨
Three artists, three distinctive approaches to contemporary art — brought together in a dialogue between material, perception and imagination.
With Johannes Ehemann, Lev Khesin and Rhea Standke, our current group exhibition introduces three new artistic positions to the program of Galerie Barbara von Stechow.
Johannes Ehemann’s hybrid paintings move between abstraction and photographic deconstruction, questioning how images are constructed and perceived.
Lev Khesin explores the possibilities of silicone as an artistic material. Layer by layer, he creates sensually vibrant surfaces in which color, light and depth continuously shift with the viewer’s perspective.
Rhea Standke opens the door to utopian, surreal-inspired floral worlds. Her works transform organic forms into imaginative pictorial spaces that oscillate between the familiar and the fantastical.
Despite their very different visual languages, all three artists share an interest in expanding our perception of reality. Material becomes more than a medium, and the image becomes a space for discovery.
The New Artists Show also marks the first presentation of all three artists within our gallery program.
