FRAGMENTED REALITIES
We are pleased to invite you to the opening of our upcoming exhibition FRAGMENTED REALITIES on May 9 – a curated constellation of five artistic positions exploring perception, visual spaces and the fragmented nature of contemporary urban reality.
As a first behind-the-scenes glimpse, works have already arrived from Berlin and are currently being installed in the gallery. Some of Detlef Waschkau’s works are still concealed behind their protective packaging, offering only a partial view of what is to come. His practice centers on wood reliefs, where carved surfaces and carefully applied pigments create a subtle interplay between material, colour and depth.
As part of the upcoming exhibition, the front space of the gallery will bring together works by Gaby Terhuven, Peter Vahlefeld, Detlef Waschkau and Daniel Wöllenstein. These positions unfold a dynamic field between structure, reduction and layered imagery. The back space features large-scale works by Christopher Corso, whose compositions merge urban impressions and media fragments into immersive visual environments.
Official Opening – Vernissage
