Galerie Benden & Ackermann Art gallery for post-war and contemporary art The gallery's program is primarily characterized by established artists of American Pop Art.

As a renowned gallery in the Rhineland, Galerie Benden & Ackermann has represented international positions of post-war art as well as contemporary art for decades. Thus, you will find works by Tom Wesselmann, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, James Rosenquist, Robert Rauschenberg and Alex Katz. In addition to these established artists, the gallery also promotes a number of contemporar

y artists. In recent solo exhibitions, the gallery featured the sculptural work of Willi Siber and Hans Kotter. Galerie Benden & Ackermann regularly exhibits these international positions at most important art fairs. The gallery is centrally located at Cologne's Mediapark, in close proximity to well-known city museums, such as the Museum Ludwig and the MAKK Museum. In March 2022, Galerie Benden & Ackermann opened another location in the culturally conscious Düsseldorf district of Oberkassel. Many renowned artists such as Joseph Beuys, Gotthard Graubner and Günther Uecker were based here with their studio.
