I’m currently working on my first card deck which is going to be a cartomancy deck.

Cartomancy refers to a method of divination using standard playing cards. My deck combines the classic French suited deck style (used for Rummy, Poker etc.) with elements of the Tarot’s Minor Arcana. This means that you will be able to use the cards for both playing and divination purposes. Using playing cards for divination is a popular practice in different strands of Folk Witchcraft.

My plan is to bring this project to life with an eventual crowdfunding campaign. Follow my (free) patreon to stay up-to-date.

I built a Baba Yaga shrine. Toward the end of last year, as Baba Yaga became more present in our household, I was inspired to build this shrine to give Baba Yaga a place in our home. Now I’ve finally gotten around to sharing these photos with you. I hope this sparks some inspiration for your own Craft. I’ve learned that crafting with my hands is an important part of my practice. Do you create spirit places in your household?

Wild geese stretch their necks curiously to see who has lit the fire | The sacred candle flame at the longest dawn of the longest day | Fully aware of its burden - to carry on the legacy of ancient bonfire beacons

Sweet nectar flows from the horn | Through herbs and roots, the mead soaks the earth | The offering to strengthen the bond
