In her drawings, Torma is guided by a meditative process in which she uses calligraphic ink and drawing ink to repeatedly let lines flow freely on paper, creating seemingly floating undulating surfaces or effervescent structures.

Auf der Suche nach Farbe und freiem Ausdruck und einem Durst nach unsichtbaren Formen und Mustern widmet sich die in Montreal, Kanada, lebende Künstlerin mit ihren aktuellen kalligraphischen Tuschezeichnungen neuen Ausdrucksformen. In Ihren Zeichnungen lässt sich Torma von einem meditativen Prozess leiten, bei dem sie mit Kalligraphie-Tinte und Zeichentusche wiederholt Linien auf Papier frei fließen lässt und damit scheinbar schwebende wellenförmige Oberflächen oder sprudelnde Strukturen schafft.

Klaus W. Rieck opens our eyes for the stone. A white Carrara marble with different surfaces, rough and in the finest cut, grants the viewer a glimpse into its interior and we are attracted to capture the stone sculpture haptically.
The sculptor has exhibited in Germany and abroad and participated in various Stone Sculptor Symposia. In addition to his artistic work, Rieck works on the restoration and reconstruction of sculptural components for historic buildings.

Klaus W. Rieck öffnet uns die Augen für den Stein. Ein weißer Carrara-Marmor mit unterschiedlichen Oberflächen, rau und in feinstem Schliff, gewährt dem Betrachter einen Einblick in sein Inneres und wir verspüren den Wunsch, die Steinskulptur haptisch einzufangen. Der Bildhauer stellte im In- und Ausland aus und nahm an verschiedenen Steinbildhauersymposien teil. Neben seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit beschäftigt sich Rieck mit der Restaurierung und Rekonstruktion skulpturaler Bauteile für historische Gebäude.
