Don’t miss the solo show „Gleichgewicht“ by in Antwerp:

Curated by Ralph Keuning, the exhibition traces Rauch’s graphic work from 1988 to 2026 through a wide selection of colourful works on paper spanning almost four decades, illustrating a continuous artistic development that Rauch has pursued in parallel with his painting.
The title Gleichgewicht (Balance) does not refer to harmony in the classical sense, but rather to a precarious state of tension. In Rauch’s work, balance is never static. Figures find themselves on fault lines, between action and stillness, between the past and the future, between order and disorder.
This balance is particularly evident in his prints: in the lines, in the composition and in the concentrated narrative core. [...]

Stef Heidhues’s works begin with the familiar—with objects and forms that surround us daily: advertising signs, safety goggles, picture frames, saddles. Yet the sculptures we encounter in the exhibition space are neither readymades nor precise reproductions. On the contrary, the process involves taking a specific object—one that has found its way into the artist’s everyday life and environment in some manner—and first scanning it with great care to grasp its materiality, surface, and form, and to take an impression.(…)
