زينت بعض قصائد الشاعر، الفيلسوف، الكاتب، المؤرخ والطبيب العربي-الأندلسي لسان الدين بن الخطيب قصر الحمراء. يقول بن الخطيب:
" جادك الغيث إذا الغيث همى * يا زمان الوصل بالأندلسِ"
من تحت قبة الحمراء في متحف الفن الإسلامي، يحدثنا علاء القصير عن هذه التحفة الفنيّة الرائعة القادمة من الأندلس.

Lisan Al-Din Ibn Al-Khatib (1313-74), an Arab-Andalusian polymath poet, writer, historian, philosopher, doctor and politician from the Emirate of Granada. Some of his poems decorate the walls of the Alhambra Palace in Granada. He said:
„It's time for generous rains to give you blessings profoundly. O time of our interaction in Andalus.“

One of the phrases written by Nebuchadnezzar II (r. 605/604-562 BCE) on the Ishtar Gate:
„I placed wild bulls and ferocious dragons in the gateways and thus adorned them with luxurious splendor so that people might gaze on them in wonder. “

Zum krönenden Abschluss unserer Tour durch das Museum für Islamische Kunst mit Stefan Weber geht es nun ins weltberühmte Aleppo-Zimmer. 🥳
Dieses Zimmer wurde um 1600 von einem armenischen Christen, der im osmanischen Reich als Broker tätig war, als Empfangszimmer in Auftrag gegeben. Es ist nicht nur ein bedeutendes Zeugnis seiner Zeit, sondern offenbart einmal mehr die pluralistische Gesellschaft im multikulturellen und vor allem multireligiösen Aleppo des 16. Jahrhunderts. 💁♂️

🇬🇧 The crowning finale of our tour through the Museum für Islamische Kunst with Stefan Weber is now the world-famous Aleppo Room. 🥳
This room was commissioned as a receiving room around 1600 by an Armenian Christian who worked as a broker in the Ottoman Empire. It is not only an important testimony of his time, but also reveals once again the pluralistic society in the multicultural and above all multi-religious Aleppo of the 16th century. 💁

"The Aleppo Room" takes place in Berlin, Germany and focuses on a group of museum guides who have been displaced by the ravages of war. The three Syrian women and one Iraqi man featured in the film are part of an organization called "Multaka", which provides Arabic-language museum tours free of charge to recently arrived refugees.
For this short film, each of the guides narrates a poetic meditation on an art object with which they are well-acquainted from their experience as guides. The Aleppo Room is one such object: an entrance room conserved in the Museum of Islamic Art that is composed of painted wooden panels with motifs from Islam, Christianity and Judaism. This interior was commissioned by a fourteenth-century Christian broker who resided in Aleppo, Syria. As we follow each guide through the film, we learn how their relationship to these art objects is echoed in their own situation of making a new home in a foreign country.

Letztes Jahr hat uns die Journalistin und Filmemacherin Elia Ghorbiah für einen Monat, während ihres #crossculture Programm Praktikums am Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa), begleitet und einen Film über die Arbeit von #Multaka, unseren Besuchern und unseren Zielen gemacht 🎬 🎞️ 🎥

💥 Since almost 3 years our 24 Multakis have been giving exciting tours in Arabic (every Saturday at 3 pm) and now finally in German and English (every Wednesday at 3 pm) in 4 Berlin museums.
Last year the journalist and filmmaker Elia Ghorbiah accompanied us for one month during her #crossculture internship at the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa) and made a movie about the work of #Multaka, our visitors and our goals
The movie is in English with Arabic subtitles 🙌

يقوم أدلاء ودليلات ملتقى الثلاث وعشرون، منذ ثلاث سنوات تقريباً، بإجراء جولات مشوقة باللغة العربية (كل سبت، الساعة الثالثة ظهراً)؛ والآن باللغة الألمانية والانكليزية (كل أربعاء، الساعة الثالثة ظهراً) في أربع متاحف مختلفة.
قامت الصحفية والمخرجة إيليا غُربية بمرافقة ملتقى لشهر خلال السنة الماضية، وذلك ضمن فترة تدريبها بمركز العلاقات الثقافية الخارجية حيث صنعت فيلماً عن المشروع وأهدافه وزوّاره.
الفيلم بالإنكليزية ومترجم للعربية.
