Three years of full-scale war. We will not be silent.

February 24 marks three years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. While the war is no longer in the headlines, its impact is felt worldwide.

Russia continues to receive military support from authoritarian regimes like Iran, threatening not only Ukraine but global security. A Ukrainian victory is a victory for freedom everywhere.

We call on everyone to join the march!

Hey, friend!

Looks like we did it again — united cultures, brought people together, and had a great time.

In July, the Zukunf/st festival took place, a significant collaboration between two acting universities in Berlin, and Kharkiv, the theatre group , the online gallery platform GalleryTalk , and your favorite cultural initiative .

Together, we created a platform for Ukrainian theatre graduates to showcase five independently staged performances, each unwrapping their vision of the future. The festival also featured a concert of Serhiy Zhadan’s play , and a panel discussion.

Our collective effort and passion for art paid off, with grateful guests embracing the young actors’ talent, vision, and dedication, turning the festival into a gathering of like-minded people with a homely atmosphere.

UCC had the great honor of sharing our creative vision, contributing to the scenography and costumes of the five performances, as well as creating a diptych installation exploring the concept of utopia.

"UNISSUED DIPLOMAS" EXHIBITION: When your classroom turns into a battlefield, your major becomes bravery

Project dedicated to the memory of 40 Ukrainian students whose lives were stolen by russia during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the exhibition you can learn more about their lives, plans and dreams.

At the opening there will be speeches from the office of the President of the University as well as from the Professor and former Judge of the Constitutional Court of Germany Susanne Baer. The singer Vasylysa will perform two Ukrainian folk songs on the bandura. At the end of the event, there will be an auction of two "Ukraїner" books signed by Andriy Khlyvnyuk and the members of the Shchuka-Ryba band. Money collected will be donated to create a fund with the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of America and the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation of Canada that will fully cover the tuition fee for one student per year, as well as provide scholarships and grants for projects.

On the occasion of the European elections, 75 years of the German constitution and President Macron's state visit to Germany, you will be working with 30 other young people from Europe on the topic of :
*"Democracy in Europe "*:
* What are the values of democracy?
* Who am I in democracy?
* What must democracy endure?
You will create a joint work on democracy that will showcase your diverse skills and perspectives and will be presented at a FGYO event. Artists and intercultural teamers will support you.

•The Franco-German Youth Office (DFJW) bears the costs for travel, accommodation and meals.
Participation is free of charge.

•We will support you if you need *certificates of attendance, leave of absence* or similar for your employers or schools.
