Undisciplined Ethnobotany
2–3 June 2026
Orangerie du Jardin des Plantes, Montpellier, France
Presented as part of Undisciplined Ethnobotany, the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Society for Ethnobotany (SEB)
The exhibition brought together artists, designers and researchers whose work explores plant-human relationships through film, photography, sound, installation, textile and participatory practices. Rather than treating plants as objects of study, the exhibition approached them as co-creators of social, cultural and ecological worlds.
