Projekt filmového muzea NaFilM začal před deseti lety jako jednoduchá otázka tří studentů: “Proč český film nemá své muzeum?”. V interaktivní expozici se zábavnou formou seznámíte s filmovou historií, zjistíte, jak film vznikal a sami se na chvíli stanete filmařem. The NaFilM Film Museum project began ten years ago with a simple question from three students: “Why doesn’t Czech cinema have its own museum?”
Since then, we’ve grown quite a lot. For the past six years, you can find us in the Franciscan Garden, right in the heart of Prague. In our interactive exhibition, you’ll explore film history in a fun and engaging way, learn how films are made, and even become a filmmaker yourself for a while. You can try virtual reality, become a projectionist of the magic lantern, or animate your own short film. Bring your friends, children, and the whole family – everyone will have fun here!
