Jana Bernartová ve své tvorbě dlouhodobě zkoumá proměny obrazu v prostředí současných technologií a vztah mezi fyzickou zkušeností, digitálním médiem a lidským vnímáním. Pohybuje se mezi fotografií, digitálním obrazem, světlem, daty i principy vizuální percepce a soustředí se na situace, kdy obraz přestává být stabilní reprezentací reality a stává se proměnlivým polem procesů, chyb a nejednoznačností.
Ve výstavě Čistím si displej každý den obrací pozornost k mikrosvětu povrchu mobilního telefonu. Prostřednictvím velkoformátových tisků zkoumá efemérní struktury vznikající na rozhraní fyzického dotyku a digitálního zobrazení, otisky, optické interference, nečistoty či drobné poruchy obrazu, které běžně unikají pozornosti. Tyto vizuální stopy transformuje v autonomní obrazovou zkušenost a otevírá prostor pro nové vnímání mezistavů mezi zjevným a skrytým.

Jana Bernartová’s practice long explores the transformation of the image within contemporary technologies and the relationship between physical experience, digital media, and human perception. Moving between photography, digital imagery, light, data, and principles of visual perception, she focuses on situations in which the image ceases to function as a stable representation of reality and instead becomes a shifting field of processes, errors, and ambiguities.
In the exhibition I Clean My Screen Every Day, she turns her attention to the micro world of the mobile phone surface. Through large format prints, Bernartová examines ephemeral structures emerging at the intersection of physical touch and digital display: fingerprints, optical interferences, impurities, and subtle image distortions that usually escape attention. She transforms these visual traces into autonomous visual experience and opens a space for a renewed perception of states between the visible and the hidden.
