This year the is organizing a Speaker's Corner.

Reserved for attendee-led discussion, this space is to be used by anyone who may want to air their personal views deemed relevant in the context but which may fall outside the scope of the academic sessions.

This space should encourage open dialogue and engagement, but please be respectful. The safety of all participants is a priority.

Please note this is not a forum for discussion with the Executive Board members, these should be raised at the Annual Membership Business Meeting on the 28/08.

The Speaker's Corner will be open during lunch breaks (13-14 pm EEST) between Thursday and Saturday (27-29.08).

You can find the registration desks at the main venue, in the School of Philosophy.

On the 27th and the 28th of August you will be able to register for the conference between 7:30 and 18:00 at the Main Venue - School of Philosophy.

On Saturday the 29th, Registration is between 7:30 and 13:00.

Jan Kolář highlights the increasing difficulty of the Book Prize Selection Committee in selecting a winner each year, in face of the great quality of the entries.

Emily Hammer received this prize for her book 'The Archaeology of Pastoralism, Mobility, and Society Beyond Grass Paradigm' (Cambridge University Press)

The European Archaeological Heritage Prize is sponsored by CIRAM. This year, Patrick Rossetti (representative of CIRAM) and Jan Mařík have the pleasure to announce the winners of the edition of the prize.

Many congratulations to Prof Rodney Harrison, the winner of this year's European Archaeological Heritage Prize in the individual category.

Since the Belgrade meeting was online only, Patrick Rossetti and Jan Mařík also announced the winners of last year's edition of the prize.

We would like to invite all delegates to attend the Keynote Lecture.

This will be delivered by Assistant Professor Marlen Mouliou from the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The title of the Lecture is "Rituals and the Meaning of Life: The Significance of Museums and Cultural Heritage in a Secular World in a State of Permacrisis".

The lecturer will be delivered during the Opening Ceremony (between 17:00 and 19:00) at Propylaea - Athens University Central Building.
