U petak 25. maja imali smo veliku čast da u prostorijama The Manual Co. ugostimo poznatog jugoslovenskog i hrvatskog reditelja i scenaristu gospodina 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗭𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗶ć𝗮.

On Friday, May 25th, we had the great honour of hosting the renowned Yugoslav and Croatian director and screenwriter, Mr. Lordan Zafranović, at The Manual Co. premises. We presented to Mr. Zafranović the entire production process, the creation of Manual products, and part of the artefacts from the rich MFAM collection, and he showed his satisfaction and enthusiasm.

Lordan Zafranović is a significant figure of the Yugoslav Black Wave. He graduated in literature and fine arts from the Pedagogical Academy in Split. After that, he went to Prague to study film and directing at the famous FAMU, becoming one of the Yugoslav directors known as the "Prague School." His best films are imbued with a strong condemnation of nationalism, war crimes, and genocide during World War II.

He is the recipient of many awards, including the Golden Arena for Best Director in P**a in 1986 and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Martovski Festival. Since 1991, Lordan Zafranović has been living in Prague.
