Dream Weaver Collection: A Decade of Artistic Research and Cultural Engagement
Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of developing and presenting the Dream Weaver collection — a comprehensive visual exploration of the Arhuaco women’s ancestral artistry and cosmological heritage from Colombia’s Sierra Nevada.
This body of work, grounded in sustained fieldwork and collaborative dialogue, uses fine art photography to document the complex cultural narratives embedded within the traditional mochila bags, serving as a metaphorical bridge between past, present, and future indigenous knowledge.
Having exhibited this collection in various academic, cultural, and artistic contexts, I continue to engage with institutions, galleries, and scholars interested in indigenous art, cultural preservation, and visual ethnography.
I invite further opportunities for collaboration, exhibition, and scholarly discussion to deepen the impact and reach of this work.
Please feel free to connect if you are interested in exploring how Dream Weaver can contribute to your academic or curatorial projects.
Thank you for your ongoing support in advancing indigenous narratives through contemporary art.
