CELEBRATING 10 YEARS. INTRODUCING FERNÁNDEZ MOSSERI.

Ten years ago, Ana Mosseri founded Galería [SN] as a project built around the belief that painting remains a vital and ever-evolving language.

Over the past decade, the gallery has had the privilege of growing alongside more than twenty represented artists, supporting new generations, championing established practices and legacies, and strengthening relationships with collectors, institutions, and fellow galleries in Colombia and abroad.

Today, we celebrate everything that has brought us here and begin a new chapter.

Galería [SN] continues its work and legacy under a new name: FERNÁNDEZ MOSSERI.

A name that honors both past and present. Building on the program established by Ana Mosseri, and under the new direction of Ana Fernández, FERNÁNDEZ MOSSERI enters its next decade with an increasingly international outlook—participating in leading art fairs, deepening relationships with institutions and galleries abroad, and creating new opportunities for our artists and their work to reach wider audiences.

We dedicate this new chapter to our history, our roots, and the legacy of Ana Mercedes Hoyos and Jacques Mosseri, which remains deeply embedded in the house they built in 1970 and which today serves as the gallery’s iconic home. Their commitment to Colombian art and culture remains at the heart of who we are and where we are going.

We will continue to champion our artists, expand the reach of their practices, and create opportunities for their work to enter new conversations across generations and geographies.

We are grateful to everyone who has been part of these first ten years.

Today at 6:00 p.m., Galería [SN] opens Como fruto maduro caer y ser devorado, a solo exhibition by Tikal Smildiger.

In this exhibition, Smildiger presents a body of work that understands painting as a space charged with symbols, narratives, and tensions. Her images are not limited to what they represent: they move through references to religion, literature, history, nature, and light to build an experience that appeals not only to the viewer’s gaze, but also to their sensitivity.

In her work, painting appears as a place where images can become allegories, and where color, matter, and composition produce a feeling that goes beyond the represented scene. Rather than offering a closed reading, Smildiger opens a territory of mystery, desire, and contemplation, where painting preserves its capacity to move, unsettle, and reveal something that remains suspended.
