Adrián Ibáñez Galería is pleased to present the poetic thread works of Colombian artist Gloria Herazo at ENTER ART FAIR 2026.
Herazo articulates a subtle language of fragility and memory through the rebellion of thread.
Drawing lines sourced from vintage archives and intimate records, her pieces navigate the ephemeral, examining gender narratives and social constructs with delicate precision.
Through fine silk thread on woven canvas, open-weave transparencies, and projected shadows, each stitch becomes an act of suspended writing—a quiet resistance against oblivion.

Adrián Ibáñez Galería is pleased to present Sobrecupo City, a striking sculptural series by Colombian artist Alejandro Sánchez Alejandro Sanchez Suarez at ENTER ART FAIR 2026.

Using overflow as a critical metaphor, Sánchez explores the tensions of contemporary production, global trade, and urban accumulation. Classical architectural facades spill out from industrial shipping containers, turning the city itself into a displaced, circulating commodity.

Through sculptural irony and material tension, the work questions the loss of balance between the city as a living space and urban space as an economic product shaped by global logistics.

Adrián Ibáñez Galería is pleased to present Sobrecupo City, a striking sculptural series by Colombian artist Alejandro Sánchez Alejandro Sanchez Suarez at ENTER ART FAIR 2026.

Veinticuatro galerías colombianas y más de cien artistas se unen para una venta virtual, cuyos fondos serán destinados a apoyar a las comunidades afectadas por el terremoto.

El 100% del valor de venta de cada obra será donado y transferido directamente a la Cruz Roja Colombiana, Presentes Corporación, Manos Visibles (Chocó) o Una Garra por Colombia (animales), para contribuir a las labores de atención y ayuda a las comunidades y animales afectados por el terremoto.

Hasta el momento, hemos recaudado $170.000.000 COP.

BEHIND THE GLITCH
Wilmer Useche pinta imágenes que llegan de la pantalla y terminan organizadas por la mano. En sus obras recientes, ese trayecto se condensa en campos de color precisos, líneas encadenadas con paciencia y patrones que cambian de naturaleza al fijarse sobre la
tela. La pintura retiene lo que la circulación digital vuelve móvil, brillante e inestable, sometiéndolo a otro ritmo, marcado por la repetición sostenida, el borde corregido y la superficie construida por capas de atención.
A comienzos del siglo XX, Adolf Loos interpretó el ornamento como signo de atraso frente a los relatos modernos de funcionalidad, utilidad y progreso. Useche recoge esa sospecha histórica como una fricción activa. Aquello que fue tratado como exceso, adorno, borde o
superficie secundaria adquiere en sus pinturas fuerza crítica y sensorial. Lo decorativo actúa como estructura de imagen, archivo visual, memoria técnica y campo de percepción. La discusión de origen arquitectónico queda absorbida por una obra que desplaza el ornamento hacia un presente de imágenes en circulación, reguladas por pantallas, algoritmos, colores saturados y una atención veloz, discontinua.

En el modo en que el color, la precisión y la repetición activan la mirada, se reconoce además una relación con el abstraccionismo geométrico y el cinetismo latinoamericano. En Wilmer Useche, esa tradición pasa por pantallas, archivos, píxeles y tejidos. En sus telas y
papeles, el placer de mirar queda unido a la paciencia con que cada obra fue construida.
Allí, el ornamento adquiere la densidad de una forma de pensamiento visual, hecha de percepción, memoria y deseo. Alex Brahim.
